Supplies Students Need To Bring
• A wide variety of small pieces of solid colors. Hint: It is great to have different shades of many of the same colors, if possible. Brigh t and dull solids are useful. (Get out your scrap bags!). I suggest a minimum of a dozen different solids from light to dark. A minimum size of fat eights is adequate for this project. Background fabric: one – half to one yard of a light gray solid of y our choice. *The sample was constructed using Kona Shadow.
• Basic sewing supplies: sewing machine, scissors, sewing thread, rotary cutter, rotary mat, iron and ironing board.
• Spray bottle with water for pressing.
