Create your own repeat pattern stamps to use again and again on fabric and paper. I will teach you how to carve both simple and elaborate repeat pattern blocks to use as focal points or boarders in your fabric art, mixed media art and art quilting. You will also learn how to colorize your designs using fabric dye pastels making the design possibilities endless with the unique and personal stamp blocks. The morning will be devoted to designing and carving up to 6 repeat pattern blocks in 3 sizes. Then the afternoon we will be printing and colorizing techniques to cap off the day.
Kit will include:
•3 soft cut print blocks in 3 sizes that can be carved on both sides to create 6 stamps, •carving tool,
•Versa Craft fabric & paper ink pad in black,
•one 15 color set of Pentel fabric dye pastels,
•a Fat quarter of washed PFD fabric ready to print and colorize.
