No, you do not need to be a registered hotel guest.

I am bringing my spouse/partner with me who wont be taking workshops. Can he/she attend the Blend Your Own Vintage event with me?

Yes. A registered Craft Napa attendee can add up to 3 guests for these events. When someone registers, there is a quantity for these particular events. There will not be an additional registration fee per guest.

I see the workshop I want is sold out. Can I be put on a waitlist?

Yes. Once you register, you have the option to be put on a waitlist for any workshops that are sold out. Click the workshop that is sold out, and it will tell you that it is sold out and place you in a queue for the workshop, should anybody cancel. You will be notified automatically should a spot open.

Yes. It is free and open to the public. Invite your friends! If you would like to be considered as a vendor, we will be publishing the vendor application in August.

Do I need to rent a car?

The Embassy Suites is about 1 mile from downtown. There is no shuttle service provided by the hotel. However, there are taxi services and Uber. Renting a car is up to you, depending upon how much travel you would like to do in the valley.

Do you recommend extending the trip if coming from out of town?

Absolutely! There is so much to see and do in Northern California, even in January! You can hike or bike through Napa Valley, Muir Woods, go to San Francisco, drive to Bodega Bay, or go to Lake Tahoe. Extend your trip, by all means!

Which airport(s) can I fly into?

Fly into Oakland or San Francisco airports. Sacramento is also another option, but a bit further away.

How do I get from SFO or OAK airports to Napa if I am not renting a car?

There is an airporter shuttle service to and from Oakland and San Francisco airports called Evans Shuttle. It is $40 each way (cash only) to the Evans location in Napa, and can take about 90 minutes (more or less depending upon traffic). When you board the bus, you must let them know at that time if you also need shuttle service to the hotel from the Evans depot in Napa (that is a little more money so be prepared). For questions or for the shuttle schedule visit the Evans Shuttle service site at Also, there is always the option of UBER (and if you are traveling with another person, sometimes this makes fiscal sense.)
