Supplies Students Need to Have:

- batting, approximately 18 x 18”
- iron and ironing board
- parchment paper, about 1 yard
- 2 or 3 small bottles acrylic paint
Once you receive your kit, pick colors that coordinate with the fabrics. Craft store paint is fine. I like Folk Art brand from Michael’s. - 3 or 4 plastic plates or something similar to use as a paint palette.
Some will be used as paint palettes and some will be used as mounts for foam stamps. - 3 or 4 skeins of embroidery floss and/or perle cotton
Once you receive your kit, select colors that match your fabrics. - embroidery needle
- scissors, large and small
- rotary cutter, mat and ruler
- plastic trash bag to cover your work surface
The surface design techniques are not particularly messy. You’ll decide what works best for your space. - optional: sewing machine
