Victoria Findlay Wolfe
Victoria Findlay Wolfe is a much sought-after source of creative inspiration for quilters. She is a popular author and instructor, whose fun, spunky designs are published in magazines regularly. She learned to sew at a very young age, watching her mother and father sew. Her father had an upholstery business on the farm and her mother sewed for Finger Hut. But it was watching her grandmother, Elda Wolfe, make hand-sewn polyester crazy quilts that was the element that set Victoria’s fingers itching to create. Victoria’s work is “improv-based,” giving a nod to Tradition in a Modern perspective. Victoria is trained as a fine artist with a Bachelors degree in painting.
